KINARA

Kings Hill Active Retirement Association

The Kings Hill Active Retirement Association (abbreviated to Kinara) is a club for people, aged over 50 and not in full time employment, who are resident in Kings Hill and surrounding areas. We are affiliated to the Kent Active Retirement Association (Kentara).

Kinara aims to foster friendship, good fellowship and well being by providing opportunities for social cultural and leisure activities.

 
About Kinara
 
Our meetings and indoor activities are usually held in the Kings Hill Community Centre, 70 Gibson Drive, Kings Hill ME19 4LG.
Kinara is managed by a Committee elected at each Annual General Meeting.
Members pay an annual subscription currently set at £20.
 

Activities

Kinara organises for its members –

Monthly Meetings

Monthly meetings with guest speakers held on the third Thursday monthly

Regular Activities

Indoor bowls, art and crafts, walks, coffee mornings, social evenings, quizzes, lunches and other events including a party night and Christmas lunch.

Excursions

Day excursions to places of interest including National Trust and English Heritage sites, theatre productions and river trips

Holidays

Kinara arranges an annual group holiday at home or abroad.

Duke of Wellington.  10,00am.

May

Holiday to Rouen in France for 6 days, 5 nights.
